Introducing the World’s Most Powerful Hearing Aids
Oticon has some of the most technologically advanced hearing aids on the market today. Along with BrainHearing technology and Own Voice Processing, Oticon has recently released three new hearing aids to provide you with a seamless listening experience.
The Oticon Xceed and the Xceed Play are the most powerful hearing aids for adults and children with severe-to-profound hearing loss. They both offer 360⁰ access to speech without the interference of background noise. This allows for a better listening experience as well as improved learning for children. The Xceed and Xceed Play feature groundbreaking technology that reduces feedback, such as static or whistling, so you can hear clearer and with better attention. Adults and children can control these devices straight from their smartphones through an app, creating more control and improved usability. The Xceed for adults comes in a variety of colors to match your skin tone or hair color while the Xceed Play includes bright, fun colors in addition to the neutral tones for younger users.
How We Choose the Right Hearing Aids
We pride ourselves on being able to help our patients find the right hearing aid for them. Dr. Uchmanowicz is an expert in hearing technology, and she will help you find a device that meets all of your hearing needs. When recommending a hearing aid, we will consider a few factors: the type and degree of hearing loss, your lifestyle, and if you have any physical concerns.
The degree of hearing loss is a main factor when considering what type of hearing aid to fit you with. More severe cases of hearing loss will require a higher level of hearing aid technology as you will need a device with a lot of power. Your lifestyle is also an important factor. If you live an active lifestyle and are in noisy environments often, then you will need a higher level of technology that can filter background noise and orient better to sound. The final factor we consider when recommending a hearing aid is if you have any physical concerns. Hearing aids are incredibly small in size, and some are considered to be “invisible” because they rest inside the ear canal. If you have trouble with your vision or can’t press small buttons very well, then we will help you find a hearing aid that will better suit your individual needs.
